You have the right to return products purchased and request their replacement in the following cases:

1. Fault of stopmarket.gr

In all cases where, through the proven fault of stopmarket.gr, incorrect products or products of poor/defective quality were sold (errors in order taking, invoicing, shipping, damage during transport, or poor packaging).

  • Costs: In this case, the costs of returning the products to the company and the costs of re-shipping to the customer are borne by stopmarket.gr, provided that the return method suggested by the company is followed.

2. Manufacturing Defects

In all cases where there was a manufacturing problem or a functional/quality defect covered by the product warranty.

  • Costs: The return and re-shipping costs are borne by stopmarket.gr, provided the suggested return method is used.

Procedure for Defective Products

If a manufacturing defect is identified and confirmed by stopmarket.gr, the following apply:

  • Documentation: The return must include all accompanying documents (e.g., Delivery Note, Retail Receipt, etc.) and the complete packaging.
  • Packaging Exception: If the defect was discovered after delivery and the packaging no longer exists, or if the packaging was collected by the distributors upon delivery, the original packaging is not required.
  • Inspection: After the return, the reported defect is inspected, and the customer is notified of the results.
  • Resolution: If a defect is found, the product is replaced. If replacement is not possible, the transaction is canceled and a refund is issued via the original payment method.

Refund Specifics:

  • Credit Card: stopmarket.gr will notify the issuing bank to cancel the transaction. The bank will then proceed according to its contract with the customer. stopmarket.gr bears no responsibility for the timing or method of the bank’s reversal.
  • Bank Transfer/Cash on Delivery: The refund will be made via bank transfer to the customer’s account.
  • Damaged/Incomplete Returns: stopmarket.gr reserves the right to seek compensation from the customer if products are returned damaged or incomplete, determined by the state of the products.

Return Deadlines and Conditions

  • Timeframe: The maximum period for a replacement return cannot exceed fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt.
  • Condition: Products must be in the state they were received—complete, undamaged, and in their original excellent condition packaging.

  • Mandatory Steps:
    1. Contact the store on the same or next business day after receipt.
    2. Ensure the product is accompanied by all original transaction documents.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (Non-Defective Returns)

The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Conditions for Withdrawal:

  • No Reason Required: This withdrawal is “unjustified” (no reason needed) and carries no penalty.
  • Product State: The item must be returned exactly as received: with all components, accompanying manuals/leaflets, and packaging in perfect condition.
  • Shipping Costs: Withdrawal is only accepted if the buyer has first paid any shipping costs incurred by the company to send the item and the shipping costs for its return.
  • Notification: The declaration of withdrawal must be made in writing or electronically. stopmarket.gr will send a confirmation of receipt.
  • Refund Timeline: stopmarket.gr will refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the returned products. Shipping and return costs are non-refundable.

Diminished Value & Liability:

  • Inspection: Customers should check the nature and function of the goods based on the information on the external packaging without opening it or putting the device into operation.
  • Used Products: If the packaging is opened or the product is put into operation, its value is automatically reduced as it is characterized as “used.” The customer must compensate the company for this reduction in value, which is determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Compensation: stopmarket.gr reserves the right to set-off (deduct) this compensation from the refund amount.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Withdrawal is not permitted for:

  • Health & Hygiene: Products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery (e.g., personal care items).
  • Explicit Exclusions: Products where the description explicitly states that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

Note: For your own convenience, please inspect the condition of the products and their packaging at the time of delivery to identify obvious defects (e.g., broken goods or incorrect items).
